When Laurel Maryland police officer, Bennett Johns, was called to the local Giant grocery store in Laurel, Maryland, he was expecting a typical arrest for shoplifting.A young mother had been stopped by store security for attempting to steal a pack of disposable diapers that cost $15. After the woman was cited for misdemeanor theft, she broke down explaining that she couldn’t afford the diapers for her two-year-old son.
