Love Button is a nonprofit organization built around one simple idea: love is something we do. We inspire everyday acts of compassion through Love Buttons, community programs, and initiatives that bring people together and strengthen communities.

When was Love Button founded?
Love Button was founded in 2013 by Dr. Habib Sadeghi and Dr. Sherry Sami. What began with one simple button has grown into a movement that encourages people around the world to make love visible through their everyday actions.
What does the Love Button represent?
The Love Button is a wearable reminder to choose love in everyday life. Some people wear it as a personal reminder. Others share it to encourage someone else or start a meaningful conversation. However it’s used, the button represents compassion put into action.

What does "Wear One, Share One" mean?
Every Love Button is an invitation to create another moment of connection. Wear one as your own reminder, then share another button with someone else and encourage them to pass that kindness forward. It’s also the heart of our Wear One, Share One program, which inspires people to keep that act of kindness moving from one person to the next.

What programs does Love Button support?
Love Button’s mission comes to life through three core initiatives:
- Wear One, Share One encourages people to create everyday moments of connection by wearing a Love Button and sharing one with someone else.
- Baskets of Gratitude delivers baskets filled with comfort, care, and encouragement to individuals and families during the holiday season.
- Love in Learning empowers students through programs that foster empathy, compassion, and a sense of belonging, including our annual back to school backpack campaign and other school-based initiatives.
