On September 19, thousands of people are expected to gather at Venice Beach for an attempt at the world’s largest beach cleanup, and you’re invited to be part of it.
Love Button Global Movement is proud to join Deep Blue, StokedPlastics & Opolis Optics, Akasha Superfoods, OoMee, KOOK and other organizations as an official community partner for the event.
The goal is simple: bring people together to help clean the beach while creating a day that feels social, positive and worth being part of.

Thousands of people, one shared goal
The cleanup will take place from 4–8 PM at Tower 18 in Venice Beach, across from the skate park.
The event has already drawn significant interest across Los Angeles, becoming a top-trending event on Partiful shortly after it was announced.
Organizers are bringing together environmental groups, local businesses, athletes, creators and community members, with music and additional programming planned throughout the afternoon.
At the center of it all is something very straightforward: people showing up and doing something useful together.

Love Button is bringing Wear One, Share One
Love Button will also bring Wear One, Share One to the beach.
Participants will receive two Love Button pins: one to wear and one to share with someone else.
That second button might go to the friend who came with you, another volunteer you meet on the beach or someone you cross paths with later that day.
“Love Button is rooted in the belief that small acts of love, when multiplied across a community, can create extraordinary change,” says Dr. Paige Ghafouria, Director of Love Button Global Movement. “There is something incredibly powerful about thousands of people coming together to care for a place we all share.”
The cleanup gives people a chance to do something concrete for the beach while also connecting with the people around them.
