Iraqi lieutenant reunites with his family

An Iraqi soldier, First Lieutenant Salam, embodied the Love Button Global Movement when he Paused and Loved on the family he had been separated from. While stationed at a checkpoint in Bartella, a group of refugees that were fleeing Mosul walked by. Among that group were First Lieutenant Salam’s mother, father, and young son. After a lengthy separation from his family while working for an Iraqi special forces team attempting to gain back Mosul from ISIS, he was moved to tears at the joy of seeing his loved ones. Because Love Unites.
